Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi launched their 5G phone Redmi K30 5G in China last year in December. This phone was launched in India as Poco X2. Although the Poco X2 uses a slightly less powerful processor. Meanwhile, Redmi reduced the price of Redmi K30 5G phone in China. Maybe the new phone of this series Redmi K30i will come in the market soon, that is why Redmi has reduced the price of the previous model. However, no info is there about reducing the price of Poco X2 in India. Maybe the company can do that a few days later. The Redmi K30 5G comes with a Snapdragon 765 processor, and a 4,500 mAh battery. Also the special attraction of Redmi K30 phone is that it comes with 5G connectivity and quad 64 megapixel camera.
Reduction of price:
In China, the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant of the Redmi K30 5G was priced at $325, which is equivalent to around Rs 24,506. Currently the phone is costing just $283 (Rs 21,340) on Xiaomi’s website. Although the price of other variants are still same.
Redmi K30 Specification:
Redmi K30 has a full HD plus 6.8 inch display with 120 Hz refresh rate. Its aspect ratio is 20: 9 and resolution is 1080 × 2400 pixels. Dual punch hole and the curved edged design is there in the main focus.
Processor, RAM and storage:
The 5G variant of this phone comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 65 processor. The company has announced that a 4G variant will be launched soon. In terms of storage, the phone comes in three storage variants – 6 GB RAM + 64 GB, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB.
Battery and software:
The Redmi K30 comes with a 4,500 mAh battery, which will support 30 watts of fast charging. This phone comes with Android 10 based MIUI 11 operating system.
The Redmi K30 has a quad rear camera setup. Whose primary camera is 64 megapixels. There are also 2 megapixel, 5 megapixel and 8 megapixel cameras. This phone has a 20 megapixel and 2 megapixel dual front camera for selfies.
